What the crap?

I waited through this lousy movie, just to find out it's a damn commercial?

[Legendary Tales 1-4]

GOOD MG spoof.

Personally, I thought the only really good movie in this whole collection was the metal gear spoof, which I found absolutely hilarious. The other characters of Legendary Frog...well...I find them very bland in comparison to his other work. Very flat. But like I said, the metal gear cartoon is this collection's saving grace.

[The Doom Project]

Loved it.

This movie was a truly excellent tribute to DOOM. It got the feel of the game down, the great moments within the game and I really enjoyed all the different styles that went into it. Maybe it's my own inexperience but I've never seen a collaberative movie that credits its artists as well as this one. This rocked. Hard.

[Pico VS Zombies DoD]

It was pretty good.

I recognized sound affects from Alien vs Predator, just thought I'd get that out of the way...so yeah....HA. Anyway, I liked the style of this movie, nice graphics going...but there was simply no plot...I'm not saying that all flash movies have to have genius writing or anything, or that gratuitous violence is bad...but the whole thing felt a little contrived to me.

The humorous elements of this movie really weren't that funny, sorry to say. It was a movie about some HIP teenagers making mince meat of zombies. It just didn't cut it for me. Not even remotely.

Not too great.

I understand that this movie satrizes the public reaction to video game violence...but the fact remains that it wasn't especially clever. I nice idea, but kind of lousy delivery.

Too much Duke, not enough Nukem.

I liked the animation in this a lot, it was well animated. But the singing duke nukem was tooo much of a pansy for my tastes. I'm a big Nukem fan and to see him on the skinny side and in poses that were quite girly...it just seemed wrong to me.

[Deus Ex: Liberty Island:1]

I wish JC was this slick.

A little too short, and the sound is a little painful...but a lovely tribute nevertheless. I like how he takes down the second NSF soldier. But yeah, it's lacking.

[Chase 'n' Pac-Man]

Short, wonderfully sweet.

I never thought you could make anything particularly clever in a spoof about pacman, but this was really funny. My only criticism is the fact that the guy doesn't have a mouth. I know it saves on difficult animation...but...cmon, let's not be lazy. But yeah I loved this.
